Juan had a meeting in Jamestown tomorrow....so he drove an exta hour to eat dinner and relax with us tonight. We opened the 'Manjar Blanco' Daddy and Doris brought us in their October visit. Here we are eating a delicious chicken dinner. Little Chloe (foster child) is in the picture next to mama TJ.

In anticipation of today, we brought some sparkles out for the kids to play. It reminds me of my childhood when daddy and mother would give us each 3 or 4 sparklers and we would try to write our names backwards for the camera. I end up doing more of the same things we did with our own parents. It is awesome! I miss the rest of you!

Zach and I worked over the winter in the basement making this kayak. We needed to test drive it to see if it turned well and if it could maintain the coarse. Sometime it is necesary to add a kiel. Ours, did great. We'll begin putting the top over the next two weeks in time to kayak down the river this summer.
Emilia, Carlitos and SofĂa helped too!

Erik saw a Mythbuster's episode where they built a wooden cannon. Here is his version, shooting 40 grains of Goex blackpowder. What a blast !
